A clip of the film VNA PRESENTS ITSELF, in which Video in the Villages presents its recent progress. Founded in 1987, the project began with the introduction of video in Indigenous communities. Since 1997, the project has been investing in the trainning of the first generation of Indigenous filmmakers, through national and regional video workshops.

No longer able to hunt their prey the way their ancestors did, the young Wemotaci have become night runners through the deserted village. And can they ever run! They run for fun or just to exhaust themselves—until the police go after them. A fresh and lively filmmaking feat.

A documentary of the journey from the Arctic to Timbuktu, for the Festival au Desert. 10 young people, 6 from Igloolik, 2 from Iqaluit and 2 from france, meet in the sahara desert to perform in Bamako and Timbuktu, and give circus workshops to youth on the way.

During the 1950's famine in the Canadian Arctic, Kikkik, an Inuk woman killed a man in self defense and them found herself in the position of having to leave 2 of her 5 children on the tundra. She was tried for murder and criminal negligence and subsequently acquitted. Written by Elisapee Karetak, one of Kikkik's daughters.
