Having won multiple Ulu medals in the Arctic Winter Games across the Arctic as well as pursuing her post secondary education, Deseray is a celebrated athlete and role model for Nunavik youth.

Synopsis: Series made for youth. The first episode features Salluit rapper Larry Thomassiah, the winner of Esuma and Aumaaggiivik Nunavik Arts Secretariat’s “Perseverance” song writing competition. Larry, along with Inuk singer Beatrice Deer, records his winning song “Be Happy” in a music studio in Montreal.
