Segment 1: Elder Walter Topilak and Effie Kakayak talk about how it was when Kugluktuk started as a community. They have seen big changes from the life style they lived before the establishment of the community.
Segment 1: The Hamlet built an access road to the water lake for public use. The road has improved people’s ability to go into the campgrounds.
Segment 2: Men in Igloolik go walrus hunting. They also prepare walrus meat for fermentation in caches. The meat will be removed from the caches in the wintertime.
Segment 1: This whole video is about television coming into the town of Igloolik, Nunavut. Joe Attagutaluk interviews people about the “Yes or No” vote about allowing a television channel. There are different opinions. Elders are also asked about their views.
