Peter Ittinuar was the MP for the Nunatsiaq (pre-Nunavut) riding in the NWT at the time. As MP, he lobbied the federal government to make changes to reflect the rights of Inuit. Some people included in this video are Charlie Watt and Eric Tagoona, who are interviewed on Inuit rights as first Canadians.
