Program name: Qimaivvik was a cultural show produced in Baker Lake or Igloolik, but included segments from all of IBC’s centers. Topics included: storytelling, hunting and sewing techniques, legends, language, and other traditional practices such as igloo building, etc.

Segment 1: Angirakkanirpuq Nuilaalik – The Homecoming of Nuilaalik – Nuilalik and his family go back to the place where he grew up. It was a place of starvation and a lot of hard times. This time he goes back with joy to experience once again the good times of fishing and visiting the graves of his ancestors. He goes with his friend Mannik who sings a song about his kakivak (fish spear).
