Dear IsumaTV members,

We are preparing to launch IsumaTV 2.0: our improved, collaborative, and interactive Inuit and Indigenous community network site.

New features of IsumaTV 2.0:

  • Create channels to contribute ideas or organize actions. Join collective channels to interact directly with other members using text, audio, and video.

  • Create your own blog-type channel, or import your existing blog.

  • Rate Indigenous videos and send feedback.

  • Create your own personalized profile.

In anticipation of our public launch, we are inviting you to log onto the new website and help us to improve and build on it. To access the new IsumaTV, go to www.isuma.tv/beta and click on “Request new password”. All of your content from the original website has been transferred to the new site. We are now asking channel administrators to verify that all your content is up to date. This is also an opportunity for you to add more content and new types of content, to change your channel’s name, and to edit your information.

In addition to updating your channel, we would like to you to help us launch isumatv 2.0 by recording your own personal greetings. Your greetings can be about you, your project or how you think the internet helps change the world.

You will be able to record your greetings by using your webcam, uploading your video, uploading only audio or you can contact us to record you. Just go to:

http://www.isuma.tv/beta/greetings

We hope you find the new features of IsumaTV 2.0 as rich and useful as we do. Please send us your feedback or contact me with any questions you might have.

All the very best,

Gabriela Gámez
