5. What Is Your Message to the Baffinland Mine?

A group of youth from Igloolik are asked whether they have heard of Mary River, the Baffinland Iron Mine. There are a wide breadth of responses from not really knowing what it is, or what it's for, to having lived and worked there.

A group of youth from Igloolik reflect on whether they think the Mary River Iron Mine will be good for the future of Igloolik and Nunavut as a whole or if it will have long lasting negative effects long into the future.

While some wish it had never been opened in the first place, some of this group of youth from Igloolik imagine a future where the Baffinland Iron Mine is in operation for, not just their lifetime, but the lifetimes of their children.
