Segment 1: This is a documentary of the 1987 Qitdlarssuaq Expedition. This is about a three-month trip by dog team by Michael Beedell, Renee Wissink, Paul Apak and Theo Ikummaq. They expected to begin the trip from Baffin Island to Greenland in March. The four hoped to retrace the route of the last Inuit migration to Greenland 125 years ago. Qitdlarssuaq, a mystic and shaman, or priest, led 40 members of his family on the journey. Apak and Ikummaq are descendants of Qitdlarssuaq. Beedell, 30, has been an Arctic wilderness guide for 10 years.

Segment 2: Chris Cousins and Noah Papatsie filmed a polar bear hunt in Iqaluit, Nunavut. This shows the bear being shot and skinned.

Segment 3: During the teachers’ conference in Salluit, Quebec, teachers say their farewells to their relatives.
