Program: Kippinguijautiit (Things to Pass Time By): This show entertains the audience with funny and interesting stories on traditional and contemporary Inuit way of life. Kippingujautiit features northern musical talent and coverage of games and special events. Kippinguijautiit was the most popular Inuktitut language program from the audience survey conducted in 1992. Kippinguijautiit is a half-hour program for the 16 to 60 year old age group. Kippingujautiit was produced and packaged in Iqaluit with segments provided by our other production centres. 1985 – 2009 approx.

Segment 1: Kitikmeot communities compete in Inuit summer games in Cambridge Bay. Some of the traditional games includes tea boiling and geese plucking.

Segment 2: Inuit elders gather together to socialize by going on picnics and playing games where locals donate prize. Elder Lena Nuliayuk Kingmiaqtuq explains what they do to socialize.
Segment 3: The Tooniit Band from Arctic Bay entertain the crowd.
