Segment 1: Elders Mannik and Nagjugalik tell stories about their experiences (including starvation) and living off the land in their younger days. Nagjugalik explains what the process was for storing all the different kinds of fish to be used during the winter. They used the fish oil for qulliq.
Both men share an ajaaja song.
