Segment 1: Kiviuq’s Journey – Kiviuq is a legendary figure across the North. His stories are told in many ways in many dialects. The stories of Kiviuq hold Inuit tradition together. From Alaska to Greenland, elders tell stories about Kiviuq and his journey home from exile.
Segment 2: This is a story about Kiviuq drifting out into the sea. This is an old Inuit story. Victoria Mumuqjualuk and other elders from Baker Lake, Nunavut, tell the story with illustrations.
