Segment 1: Interview with Thomas Ugyuk – he says that the only time they were able to shop for food supplies was when the ice formed and they could go by dog team. This was only possible once a year, because there weren’t any planes, and the only ship also came once a year.
Segment 2: Josie Papatsie tells a story about the time when caribou migrated out to east.
Segment 3: Tautunngi tells part of the legend about Ilimarasugjuk.
