Segment 2: In 1978, the federal government decided that the Thelon and Kazan Rivers near Baker Lake, Nunavut, would become Canadian Heritage Rivers. This is a short documentary on the process of how to designate a river as a Heritage River.
Segment 3: The Kivalliq Inuit Association met in Baker Lake. Louis Pilakapsi, President of the organization, talks about the agenda items. One of the main items of discussion is communication with the stakeholders.
