Qimaivvik was a cultural show produced in Baker Lake or Igloolik, but included segments from all of IBC’s centres. Topics included: storytelling, hunting and sewing techniques, legends, language, and other traditional practices such as igloo building, etc.

Segment 2: People enjoy the spring weather in Rankin Inlet and ice fishing. This was a fishing derby to raise funds for the students’ trip to Vancouver, B.C.
Segment 1: Bill Kashla is the chairperson of the Kivalliq Divisional Board of Education. They are holding a meeting in Arviat. The chairperson gives a report on the educational activities in the region.
Segment 1: Arviat Inuit Summer games. Children swim outdoors, ATV race and some women participate in a bannock making contest. Students play outdoors at recess time in winter.
