L’École d’été de l’Institut du Nouveau Monde
L’École d’été de l’Institut du Nouveau Monde is a major event for youth between 15-35 years old happening every summer. This year it will take place at Concordia University from August 12th to 15th.
This event holds many interesting conferences and panels such as one on the Quebec Budget and Student Fees (with Dr Hélène Perrault, dean of the Faculty of Education at McGill, and Raymond Bachand, minister of Finances), the role of the Internet in the media crisis (with Sophie Cousineau, journalist at La Presse, Bernard Descôteaux, director of Le Devoir and Louise Lantagne, director of the TV division of Radio-Canada), on relations with the Native communities, etc.
We would like to invite possible students and non-students interested in issues and debates regarding Quebec and the Native communities.
