NITV is thrilled about the CRTC decision to provide Uvagut TV with a broadcast licence and mandatory distribution order. With the CRTC approval, we are excited to expand the television service we provide. Starting on January 20th, 2025 we are committed to providing the following:

At 12:01 a.m. Monday, January 18, Nunavut Independent Television (NITV) makes history when it launches Canada’s first all-Inuit Inuktut TV channel.
