Qimaivvik was a cultural show produced in Baker Lake or Igloolik, but included segments from all of IBC’s centres. Topics included: storytelling, hunting and sewing techniques, legends, language, and other traditional practices such as igloo building, etc.

Segment 1: Elizabeth Quinanaq teaches how to make kamiks out of caribou skin.
Segment 2: Before wood came into Inuit territory, Inuit had to use skins for sled material. Silas Aittauq talks about how to make caribou skin sleds in 1949. These are called qamutitautik.
The Inuit Broadcasting Corporation, established in Canada's territory of Nunavut, has been producing Inuit language video, by, for and about Inuit since 1981.
