Kivalliq Inuit Association (KIA) is running their elections. Cathy Towtongie and Rosie Oolooyuk are interviewed giving their opinions on the association and what role elected officials should have.
Segment 3: In the past Inuit followed a traditional practice not to mention the name of any person who had recently died. Elder Victor Aqasiaq is argues that since everybody usually carries the last name of their father this practice has changed and is not being respected.
