Interview with Dana Moraes and Graham Richard

'I'm Alaskan Haida.'

'I have kind of an extensive language background. I've been either learning, documenting and teaching language for a little over a decade.'

'I'm a functional speaker.'

'This affirms our identity. This affirms that we can indeed use our language for the most significant medium which is film. Its the most popular medium beside music.'

'I hope every individual in the Haida Nation are able to watch it.'

'Many people know Haidas by their art. So I hope anyone that is a fan of Haida arts will also take an interest into our depiction of what and how Haidas live.'

'I think every Haida home should also have a DVD copy of this. Because this is a true legacy.'

'I always imagine how that would look, how would that be. Sometime I would try to take myself there by looking at books. Because there wasn't always...it was kind of difficult to set your mind...put yourself in a setting when you are on set, when you have all the cameras and you have all the people surrounding you. You kind of have to do that before hand.'

'This will be around forever.'
