Segment 1: In 1985, Elders in Cambridge Bay show some traditional games. They play with an ajagaq. It involves a bone with a stick at the end - you try to pin the stick into the hole to win or to tell a story to continue. They sing ajaaja songs and they also show how the pulling game works - two women position themselves and try to pull each other over.

The Inuit Broadcasting Corporation, established in Canada's territory of Nunavut, has been producing Inuit language video, by, for and about Inuit since 1981. This video is from their collection and has been made available on the Internet for your enjoyment through funding provided by the Government of Canada and the Government of Nunavut.
