Wilma, is originally from Aklavik and has been living in Inuvik for the last 33 years. Her parents are George and Barbra Allen. Her husband's name is George Dosedel, they have two sons, Dennis and Preston, and two grandsons.

With the guidance and knowledge from her mother, Wilma has spent the last 40 plus years practicing and perfecting her knowledge in sewing in all traditional clothing.
