IKCC at IQ film festival in Arviat and Toronto

Tonight IKCC was screened in an Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit Film Festival that was held simultaneously in Arviat, Nunavut, and in Toronto at York University.

The evening was presented by the Nanisiniq Arviat History Project:http://nanisiniq.tumblr.com/

Local Inuit filmmakers Jordan and Curtis Konek, from Arviat, screened their films, as well as IKCC.

It was an amazing night, we used Adobe Connect to network Arviat, Toronto and me from New Brunswick. We had a very interesting conversation across the time and space of these communities.

Congrats to all! A successful evening of knowledge and film sharing! Everyone check out Nanisiniq, a very cool project, and if you can, help support their efforts to get to COP-17 to share their Inuit youth perspectives about climate change
