Program name: Kippinguijautiit (Things to Pass Time By): This show entertains the audience with funny and interesting stories on traditional and contemporary Inuit way of life. Kippingujautiit features northern musical talent and coverage of games and special events. Kippinguijautiit was the most popular Inuktitut language program from the audience survey conducted in 1992. Kippinguijautiit is a half-hour program for the 16 to 60 year old age group. Kippingujautiit was produced and packaged in Iqaluit with segments provided by our other production centres. 1985 – 2009 approx.

Segment 1: Rankin Inlet resident Mariano Aupilarjuk, talks about how he was raised in the Inuit traditional way of life and discusses about the traditional values his mother taught him.

Segment 2: Nakashuk School in Rankin Inlet hosts a science fair 1992.

Segment 3: Mariano Aupilarjuk describes one of the Inuit traditional laws (tirigusuusiit) He also recalls what he experienced in the past when he did not follow traditional law.
