This program features information and current affairs along with entertainment stories from Baker Lake and the surrounding area. Stories include profiles on the passing of elders, fishing and dog teaming. “Super Shamou” a truly northern and Inuk super hero is featured on this show. Takuyaksat is a half hour program for the 25 to 46 year old age group produced out of Baker Lake, Nunavut. Language: Inuktitut

Segment 1: The Economic Development & Tourism department is asking the residents of Baker Lake to see if a not for profit society can be formed to take over the sewing center. The public is consulted for their opinion and most are agreeing the sewing centre needs to continue.
