Program name: Qaujisaut
Qaujisaut (To See, To Find Out) was a program directed mainly toward Inuit youth facing hard choices - caught between two cultures. It is entertaining, fast and fun. Up and coming young musical talent was promoted on Qaujisaut. Qaujisaut taught young people important life skills as well as touching on timely health issues and covering stories important to youth. Qaujisaut was interactive – some had contest segments and a write-in/email segment. Qaujisaut was a half-hour program for the 13 to 15 year old age group. Qaujisaut was produced in Iqaluit with segments also being provided by our other centres.

Segment 1: Paul Otuk Junior, a young boy, plays guitar by himself.
Segment 2: Igloolik students go on a walrus hunt. One of the students shoots a walrus. They are seen cutting it up.
Segment 3: Johnny Issaluk is a youth selected to go on the bowhead whale hunt (Bow Hunt). He is very excited and he talks about it.
Segment 4: This video is about the bowhead whale hunt in Repulse Bay. This was the first official Bow Hunt in the Nunavut Territory.
Segment 5: Jason Putumigartuq from Baker Lake is representing the youth in the Keewatin Region. He talks about issues facing the youth and what they would like the Kivalliq Inuit Association to do to help them.
