FW: New fund for Montréal Aboriginal Artists and Writers – Information Session April 7!

Montréal Aboriginal artists and writers: we have the pleasure to inform you that a new program has been created with artists like you in mind.

A few weeks ago, the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec (CALQ) launched the Fund for Montréal Aboriginal Professional Artists and Writers.

http://www.calq.gouv.qc.ca/regions/06prog_autochtones_en.htm

You have until June 21, 2011 to submit your application to the CALQ.

A skilled person will be available to assist you in the process of preparing and writing your application (without any fees charged to you).

For more information about this program and to meet this contact person, come to l’Escalier (552 St-Catherine east), April 7, 2011, from 6 :00 to 8:30 pm.

At the same time, you will get more information about the Aboriginal Art Event (to be organized in collaboration with the City of Montréal’s Réseau accès culture), which will start probably in the fall of 2012.

Please RSVP for the information session at l’Escalier.

The ART  • CULTURE Committee will offer food and beverages for the occasion. Our now-famous Aboriginal ART • CULTURE evening will follow with Joséphine Bacon and Kathia Rock.

If you have any questions or comments, please let us know!!!

See you soon,
