A Retired RCMP receives an award for his service and bravery award for saving individuals on the land. Tommy Sammurtuq and Arsene Arnaturniq were also given awards for saving hunters. Robert Tatty receives an award for passing on traditional knowledge.

Segment 2: The ending of the first Legislative Assembly of the Nunavut Government.

The Inuit Broadcasting Corporation, established in Canada's territory of Nunavut, has been producing Inuit language video, by, for and about Inuit since 1981.
