Segment 1: Nunavut Commissioner Peter Irniq, recognizes people for exemplary behaviours. The ceremony takes place in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. A Retired RCMP receives an award for his service and bravery award for saving individuals on the land. Tommy Sammurtuq and Arsene Arnaturniq were also given awards for saving hunters. Robert Tatty receives an award for passing on traditional knowledge.
Segment 2: The ending of the first Legislative Assembly of the Nunavut Government.
