There are many Inuit women who possess amazing power within themselves, and reflect that power in the positions they hold. In this episode we focus on some of these women – Member of Parliament Lori Idlout, Governor General Mary Simon, musicians Beatrice Deer and Elisapie Isaac, are among some of them. Inspiring role models who remind us that real strength and power come from lives lived with trauma, suffering and humility, and facing this trauma with art, wisdom and understanding, can bring one to a better future and help others.
